Drill Instructors Screening Officers

Officer Candidate School has the word "screen" for leadership within their mission statement. But in a platoon of 60 candidates, there are only five screeners: one junior Captain and four SNCOs. At most, they get nine weeks to screen. It seems more logical that The Basic School should be the environment for screening officer candidates.

If boot camp is a requirement, send everyone to the same bootcamp.

The current method used at bootcamp has worked for hundreds of years... but functioning doesn't mean it is the most effective method.

The military uses fear as the primary tool to screen at officer candidate school. What if there was no screaming or fear? What if it was strictly performance based? The only fear required, would be the fear of failing.
